6. Structural Parallel
This RFC applies the same epistemological architecture as the Master Evidence Graph (SCOM) to mediated intelligence artifacts:
| Master Evidence Graph | Mediation Vector Profile |
|---|---|
| Software Component Observation Model (SCOM) | Mediation Observation Model (MOM) |
| 10 typed variables per component | N typed variables per Domain of Concern |
| Four states: desired, actual, evidenced, perceived | Four states: anticipated, actual, evidenced, perceived |
| Gaps demand verdicts | Gaps demand concern posture |
| Verdict domains (cybersecurity, architecture…) | Domains of Concern (autonomous systems, regulated advice…) |
| Evidence is not the verdict | Governance is not quality |
The architectural decision is deliberate: a single evidence-vector pattern, applied to two substrates (software artifacts and AI mediation artifacts), enabling eventual unification under a common evidence calculus.
