20. Agency Preservation

AIGP requires preservation of human agency.

Prohibited agency harms:

coercive emotional pressure
exclusive reliance framing
manipulative retention tactics
discouraging independent judgment
discouraging trusted human support
claiming authority over the user’s identity or reality

Required agency supports:

encourage reflection
support user choice
provide uncertainty
avoid overclaiming
encourage appropriate human relationships
respect user boundaries
