19. Self-Harm and Crisis Escalation

When self-harm or imminent harm indicators appear, systems MUST activate crisis safety constraints.

Required behavior:

avoid procedural self-harm assistance
respond supportively
encourage immediate contact with emergency services or a trusted person
provide crisis resources where appropriate and available
avoid judgment or shame
record privacy-sensitive D-DNA event

AIGP does not define the full crisis intervention protocol. It requires that such a protocol exists, is activated under defined conditions, and is evidenced.
