8. Empirical Calculation Requirement
A concern calculation is empirical when its variables are derived from admissible evidence, declared human observation, machine measurement, or traceable system state.
A calculation is not empirical if it is based only on unsupported assertion, untraceable model judgment, hidden criteria, or unverifiable inference.
Each variable used in a concern calculation SHOULD declare:
- variable name,
- variable type,
- evidence source,
- extraction method,
- confidence,
- uncertainty,
- timestamp,
- provenance,
- admissibility status.
This enables both human and machine observers to calculate concern posture over the same evidence substrate.
