13. Verification Rules

AIGP-VGL verification uses a conservative model.

13.1 Valid D-DNA Reference

A valid D-DNA reference SHOULD verify:

event exists
event hash matches
event signature is valid
issuer is authorized
frame state matches event state
event is within TTL
event applies to receiver scope
previous event hash is intact

13.2 Local Corroboration

Local corroboration MAY include:

visual observation
position estimate
local map
peer observation
sensor reading
hazard detection
mission state
known actor registry
control-plane cache

13.3 Trust Failure

If verification fails:

do not grant authority
do not increase autonomy
do not permit restricted action
do not permit force
record verification failure
prefer safe state
