1. Purpose

The Autonomous Intelligence Governance Protocol (AIGP) defines a standardized, runtime governance protocol for AI-powered applications. AIGP enables centralized oversight of AI usage across multiple applications through a consent-based, auditable protocol.

AIGP SHALL ensure:

every AI invocation is governed
consent is enforced at runtime
usage is auditable and attributable
governance posture is configurable without code changes
multiple applications can be governed by a single governance authority
