1. Purpose

The Autonomous Intelligence Governance Protocol (AIGP) defines a standardized, runtime governance protocol for AI-powered applications. AIGP enables centralized oversight of AI usage across multiple applications through a consent-based, auditable protocol.

AIGP SHALL ensure:

  • every AI invocation is governed
  • consent is enforced at runtime
  • usage is auditable and attributable
  • governance posture is configurable without code changes
  • multiple applications can be governed by a single governance authority
