30. Canonical Serialization

D-DNA events MUST be serialized canonically before hashing and signing.

Canonical serialization SHOULD define:

field ordering
timestamp format
hash algorithm
null handling
array ordering rules
unicode normalization
number formatting
boolean representation
signature exclusion rules

Recommended timestamp format:

RFC3339 / ISO 8601 UTC

Recommended hash algorithm:

SHA-256 or stronger
